Oil Change
Oil changes must be done every month using Mobil 1 Advances Full Synthetic 10W-30 synthetic oil. Take the vehicle to Walmart and ask for the above oil to be used. Ask them to reset the oil change light if it is on. You will pay for the oil change, and we will reimburse you. Take a picture of the receipt and send to the PN Cars group chat for reimbursement.
Tires
Once the tread is less than 10% or if tire develops a bulge, we will pay for tire replacement. Take the vehicle to Walmart. Request the Douglas all season tires, and “basic installation”. You will pay and we will reimburse you. We follow the federal and Uber guidelines for tire replacement. The basic installation includes free tire rotation for the life of the tire. If you previously purchased tires at Walmart be sure to ask for the free tire rotation when you get your oil changed.
Tread Depth: Tires should be replaced when the tread depth is less than 2/32 of an inch (1.6 mm). This is the legal minimum.
Visible Damage: If tires have visible damage such as cuts, cracks, bulges, or punctures, they should be replaced immediately.
Check Engine Light
Send a picture of the check engine light to the group chat immediately. Take the car to Midas or a mechanic designated by us and ask for a free check engine light diagnostic and price quote to fix the problem. Take a picture of the invoice and send it to the PN cars group chat for approval. If approved the repairs may be made. For payment we will pay over the phone using a credit card.bulges, or punctures, they should be replaced immediately.
Other Repairs
After informing the PN Cars Group Chat and obtaining approval, take the vehicle to Midas or a mechanic designated by us and ask them for a diagnosis and itemized estimate for the repairs. Provide the itemized estimate to the PN Cars Group Chat for final approval. If the repairs are approved take the vehicle in for repairs. We will pay the cashier for the repairs by credit card over the phone.
Cracked Windshields
Call or take the vehicle to Safelite to schedule the repair. We will pay over the phone using a credit card
Roadside Assistance
Encore is an emergency roadside assistance company we contract with. Call Encore at 888-628-5095. The policy number is PHY+(the last eight digits of the vehicle VIN number). They can also look up the policy number by giving them the full VIN number. Encore provides towing service a maximum of once a week. They also provide additional roadside assistance services. For flat tires Encore can put the spare tire on so vehicle can be driven to Walmart tire shop for repair or Tow vehicle to closest Walmart for repair. If the vehicle has a mechanical breakdown and is in need of repairs have the vehicle towed to the nearest Midas. If Midas is not open you may need to use the auto insurance provided to you to request a tow to your house. Than use Encore to tow the vehicle to Midas once they are open.
If the vehicle is disabled due to an accident and you were using a commercial app at the time, use the insurance provided by that app to arrange for towing, repair, and obtaining a rental.
